Why is there a sudden barrage of spam posters?

Every question I have looked at tonight has several answers from spam posters (advertising websites that have nothing to do with the question) What the heck is going on?Why is there a sudden barrage of spam posters?
They do it because they are making money. Several Y!A users have mentioned that they bought a $10 bottle of Acai berries to lose weight. Their credit card was charged $400. When they called to complain (to the spammer), no one answered the phone. It doesn't take many clicks for the spammers to make a lot of money fast.

There are websites that offer 30垄 for every spam answer on Y!A. They will pay for more a Level 2 user.

Yahoo wants us to click on the Report Abuse button under every spam.
most likely they haven't been deleted by the moderators/whoever runs this.

it may also just be the trolls trying something new. watch out.Why is there a sudden barrage of spam posters?
It comes and goes, kind of like rain in the weather. There is nothing new to what you are seeing.
Than just report them. Why is there a sudden barrage of spam posters?
They think they are funny and are doing it for the 2 points. As simple as that.
I noticed that, that's why i never click on a link in a question or answer.
