What is the point of spam/spam emails/pornographic spam on facebook?

What do the spammers have to gain?



As far as I know, the people who send out spam emails don't benefit in any way



And recently, the porn spam on facebook has been popping up all over the place. Why? Do the spammers gain anything? What is the point?What is the point of spam/spam emails/pornographic spam on facebook?
The problem is: stupid people.



Spam costs virtually NOTHING for the spammer, and stupid people keep on clicking on the spamvertising. Spam works, at least well enough... ALL because of STUPID PEOPLE, IDIOTS who click on the spam... It works simply because there is virtually NO cost, so ANY hits mean potential profit for the spammers. All it takes is ONE STUPID blankety-blank who clicks on ONE single spam, and they will do it again, and again, and again...What is the point of spam/spam emails/pornographic spam on facebook?
Access to your information, control over your PC, and if you use credit cards, they can get a lot of money..
