What is the difference between delete, reject and reject as spam?

When moderating Yahoo Group messages, there are buttons in top right to mark a particular message as "delete", "reject" or "reject as spam". Does it matter which one I click? Will something different happen depending on which way I dump the message? What is the difference between delete, reject and reject as spam?
To quickly answer your core question: "Delete/Reject as SPAM" will of course delete the message %26amp; also alert yahoo to tag the sender as a spam sender. This helps prevent (or ideally block) this sender from sending messages to the group (or the community) again. Use with prudence.

If spam was definitely posted by a valid group member, then you can use "Reject" for an initial offense, then "Delete as Spam" when he or she repeats - depends on you %26amp; the group rules you set. What is the difference between delete, reject and reject as spam?
nothing happens with delete, it just deletes the post. reject allows you to send a message as to why you rejected it to the sender. not sure what spam does.
