After talking to the IT guy in my office, I realized my Yahoo email has been spoofed. Someone is sending spam email to people, and using my Yahoo email address as the "from" address. What can I do about it?My Yahoo email address is being spoofed and used to send spam email?
Sounds like your E-mail account has been compromised, or you picked up a virus, Eric.

Immediately have your computer checked for a 'bug' or 'bugs.' If you have the proper programs, do the scans yourself, if not you need to take your computer to some one who can.

Once it is clean of pests, install a firewall and an anti-virus program if you do not have one yet.

I strongly recommend a program for malware and adware also.

After you finish this, then go in and change your password, using a good strong one.

While it is certainly possible that some scumbag has hi-jacked your account, it is more likely that someone has just collected a contact list and is sending out their own spam to that list and injecting your name as the 'sender'. Check your 'sent' folder just to be sure.

just happened with my yahoo email account also. planning to change password %26amp; see if that helps..
i know that can be annoying.why dont u change ur password? or if that doesnt work ,make a new email.
