Delete it.
I do not have to open the message to know it is SPAM. None of my friends are sending me offers to get a loan, buy Viagra, gamble online, or to buy a fake Rolex. I just click on delete.
If you have a Linux box, you can also create a cron job that runs a script every hour. It can log onto your email delete all messages with certain keywords.
