Why is a new yahoo email account sending emails directly to the recipient's spam folder?

Is there a reason why emails from a new yahoo account go directly into the recipient's spam folder and not into their inbox? It must be something in the way I edited the account preferences or account information but I can't figure what I did to cause this. I would really appreciate your help ASAP as I need to send out invitations for an event within the hour (12pm July 14 2010). It's not a problem with your account---instead it's with your recipients accounts.



You said it's a "new" account------so my guess would be that your recipients don't have your "new" address entered into their Contact List (address book) yet-----AND until they do that, it's "likely" their accounts will send anything coming from you to their Spam folder.
