I have a spam control on my email however, in my junk folder, I received something saying that it was phishing. What is the difference?What is the difference between Phishing and Spam?
An example of Phishing is where you receive an email that looks like it is from your bank, asking you to click on a link that sends you to a website that also looks like it is your bank's website when it is not.. There they ask you to type in your account details and password...



Because of this, banks never email you like this, asking for you to log onto their website.What is the difference between Phishing and Spam?

spam=plain junk mail

phishing=attempt to con you into providing personal detail so they can steal you blind.
