What happens when I mark a piece of Yahoo mail as spam? Is it reviewed then deleted from the system, or WHAT?

Are there people involved or is it automatic? I get a lot of 419 spam in my Yahoo account, and I'd like to think that when I mark them as spam, they get reported someplace. What happens when I mark a piece of Yahoo mail as spam? Is it reviewed then deleted from the system, or WHAT?
When you mark an email as spam the yahoo filters will remember it and keep you from getting any more from that particular address.

No one reviews the mail you check as spam it is done automatically with the spam filters.

If you want to report spam you will have to do it your self.

To report a phishing email, please forward the email to phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com

Just clicking on it one time does not recognize it as spam. You have to spam it every time and yahoo finally recognizes it as spam. It is all automated.

When you go into different websites you leave behind cookies. The sites are able to track you and start sending you all kinds of junk. Always delete your cookies, temp folders and history. Never open spam it confirms your email address and you will get a lot more. Hope this helps!!!
