I realize this is not specifically a question related to Military matters but I thought it a proper question for this site none the less in the hope that there would be a couple of responders who understood what I am asking here. The question is, how many of you had the meat product Spam on your menu in the Armed Forces and what you thought of it? I will refrain from further comment as I already know what I think of Spam. Please, this is an honest question and I assure you I am not a troll. I would really appreciate honest answers here. Good luck to you.

I've eaten it and still do on occasion. If you chop it into small pieces it makes a tasty addition to an omelet, besides its traditional use as a sandwich meat. Hawaii still uses quite a bit of spam, having inherited the habit during World War Two.
When I was on active duty it was served on amphib ships where I was a member of the landing force embarked in the ship. Also had a bit of it as field rations.Spam??????
Well i have very limited experiance with Army foot as i am in ROTC and therefore only visit a base for Ranger Challenge and a few FTX's a year
When there we mostly eat MRE's which have no spam (unfortunately) but the few times we ate mess hall food there was no spam whatsoever.
So my exposure wan nothing, but as i said i am limited until i graduate college and get assigned somewhere
They should defiantly put it in the MRE's though, it's good stuff!

Deleting your account or Contacts List will NOT stop this spam - once the spammers have the address, they will continue to use it for a while. Spam sent to your Contacts will also stop in a while, but it is annoying. Yahoo's advice is to change your password, but there is more to do than just that.
1. Check that the alternate e-mail address is still yours, under Options, Mail Options, Account Information, then change it! (so the hacker will not be notified of the change). Then change both your password AND your secret questions and answers. Make them unique and long, strong ones with mixed characters!
(*** Changing your password also deletes the cookie which apparently inserts that sly trojan address grabber. ***)
If you used this password for other accounts, change them too - make every one different. Make the password much longer than 8 characters, with mixed symbols.
Usually, this is all you need to do, although mail will still be sent in the name of the old account for a while.

Yahoo unfortunately can't do anything as this is caused by Malware on your computer, not by Yahoo
You need to do the following to stop it
1 - change your email password
2 - run FULL scans for both viruses and malware. A virus scan alone is not enough. You also need to run Malwarebytes which you can download for free. Then delete any infected files
3 - after running the scan, delete your browsing history and cookies and empty your cache
4 - restart your computer
In most cases, this will stop it

The computer is older but still runs a little slow and I account some of that to the internet provider, but it seems to run all the time. Never idle. I run Systems Care often and it says there is nothing wrong and clears the temp file and all that good stuff. But I think there is something more going on. Spybot S%26amp;D -- Free
Ad-aware -- Free
and then a random free antivirus, most are simply trials, but the previous 2 things should be good enough to prevent viruses, but you will need an antivirus if you want to eliminate an existing virus.
